The Owners: Maureen and Keith

Maureen tells us:

I got into this business because it’s been a lifelong dream. I’d been imagining opening a bakery for years, and after a life-changing event, I took a leap of faith and made my dream a reality! Now, almost a decade later, I am so glad I did; I’ve learned so much from this business and the people in it. I couldn’t be happier!

Maureen has been baking her entire life! Even when she was little, she was creating new things in the kitchen (and using her siblings as guinea pigs). She’s carried that over to today, where she’s still coming up with new ideas, and utilizing her employees as willing guinea pigs! Whether it’s a new product or a new method for doing something, Maureen is non-stop creating things for everyone to enjoy! She started the bakery later in life, to the worry of friends and family, but look where she is now! She’s the perfect example that you can still achieve your dreams, no matter where you are in life.


Keith is Maureen’s loving and devoted husband. He’s also a well of local history! He’s the reason the bakery’s walls are full of historical photos, and he can tell you about them all! If you like history, be sure to come in and ask for Keith; he’d be more than happy to teach you something new!
